This introductory training is designed for girls and women who want to add to their self-defense toolkit! 8 years old and up.

• 10am to 11am - Krave Maga

• 11:15am to 1pm - Firearms Safety

Krav Maga is a cutting edge martial arts system that is world renowned for its effectiveness in self defense. It is commonly taught to civilians as the best form of unarmed defense. The techniques that you learn are for everyone, regardless of your weight and strength. You do not need to be super flexible or fast. Taught by Paula Meyers, IKMF Certified Expert Level 2 (only 1 of 3 in the country and the ONLY female), with expertise in Civilian, Children, Law Enforcement, VIP/Security, Women, Military training. Basic Pistol Operations is taught by Jennifer McDowell, an NRA-certified Pistol Instructor and owner of Astrid Defense. Participants will learn techniques for gun handing, aiming and firing in a comfortable, safe, indoor range environment - South Metro Public Safety Training Facility (https://policeandfire.training . All equipment will be provided.

Training is free for first-time participants! Please bring $20 to cover the range fee.
